Workshop Tools and Machines

A full list of tools & illustrations is available in the publication Repair Tool Catalogue for Repair Workshops, Lancia & C., Torino, SAT Stampato 8798851 - Quarta edizione (I-1961-2000). This publication can be supplied but is already available on CD from the viva-lancia.com website.

A brief introduction to relevant tools is noted at the end of each section of the manual. The sections in the manual do not exactly correspond to those shown above in the tool catalogue

The Sketches (also called AST) referred to are those found in the sections of the manual. These are the only known substantial technical data published by Lancia for the Aurelia. A number of these are published on this website as well as being used throught the manual list of ASTs with links to files.

The terms Series I and Series II are used to describe cars with coil sprung/wish-bone and De Dion/semi-elliptic spring rear suspension respectively. These are the two main groups of cars mechanically. The model that lies ‘in between’ is the Series 3 B20 which had many Series I features except for the 2500cc engine.

Examples of general tools and equipment illustrated in the Tool Catalogue are shown below
