It may be of interest concerning the numbering of tools and their originality to the car to know that prior to about 1958 Lancia tool part numbers were generally 6-figure numbers such as the 17x19 mm spanner 091.015.
New 7-figure numbers were introduced by 1959 and became such as 8091015. The tool numbers were exceptional in that other old part numbers generally had a prefix indicating the originating model, such as B10- (see-below).
On the 1st January 1972 most numbers became 8-figures with an 8 added to the front of the 7-figure number, thus 82284722 - the new number for a 17x19 Fulvia spanner.
It should also be noted that apparently identical spanners may have different pre-1958 numbers. For example, I have a 17x19 mm spanner marked 64-6531. For the Aprilia this spanner is A-1541
